Getting the Wheeling Fever

Greetings Jeepers...
I had removed the cross member off my CJ to install my rebuilt T4 and new clutch. On inspection for the reinstall, I noticed that 2 of the 3 driver side nut inserts in the frame appeared to be stripped out; probably from the last owner.
I started to reinsert the bolt by hand to test the threads and it felt fine. So I wanted to put a few turns in by hand with the wrench. Three in and she got really tight. When I was backing it out; the insert spun/broke loose from the frame.
I've done some reading in the archives and this seems to be a commom occurence in the YJ's. Any CJ'ers have this happen and what was your resolution?
Is it as easy as tracking down some new inserts for the frame, banging out the old one and popping new ones in? Or do I need to do some cutting/welding to properly fix the issue as read in the archives? I'll probably replace all to have all new.
Let me know when you have a moment... Right now the cross member is off and I have the transmission and transfer case are being supported by a jack stand until I can remedy the issue.
As always, I appreciate the insight from this group.
Warmest,
Mike

The inserts are nice for the manufactorers use. The guys on the line have an easy way to get the thing together while it is moving past them. The inserts aren't needed for home use. Just getcha some nice big bolts/nutz and put her back together. Make sure to put some good lock washers in place and you should be Ok. Big Jim

Thanks Big Jim,
I'll do that... It'll be a day or two before I can get back to work on her, but I'll drop a note on this thread if I have any other questions.
