Hello,

I think my fuel pump is leaking oil out of the breather hole. Has anyone experienced this? I have a 2.6.

Yes.

There is a diaphragm on the fuel pump lever arm that goes to the cam. It gets torn and the oil slung off the cam leaks out the fuel pump weep hole that's there to keep a leaking pump from flooding the oil sump with fuel.

Set the motor on tdc #1 before you remove the old pump to make the lever spring relax as much as possible, or removing/installing is even more of a pain.

What fasteddy said. And on some, you may have to remove a head bolt to get the clearance for removel.
