Since most Canadian Tires aren't carrying Redline Diesel Catalyst any more, where do the rest of you Vancouverites buy the other brands? I've seen the Redline stuff at Lordco once, but not since, and I'd like to try the other brands... Stanadyne etc. (plus I just tanked with no additive ) Thanks, Duncan

I think the 1/4 tank it would take to get out there would have to factor into my fuel economy calculations for the additive. Anyone know somewhere that sells Stanadyne closer to Vancouver proper? Thanks for the info though. I will definitely stop in there next time I'm in the valley.

I drove my pajero months without running additives; 65000km's later, still no problems. I do run them regularly now but every once in a while caught without them. You will be fine as long as it isn't a habit. I use Standynes now and really like it. Noticeable fuel economy improvements on my small tires. power robbed from the big tires noticeably decreased. That being said, I can't help you with where to buy the stuff in Vancouver. I buy mine from Taylor Wilton Nelson BC. Maybe they will ship you a case?
