Need a Spot
I used to be on here had a T100 Quite a few years ago, there are a number of you on here I'm sure I'll remember and may remember me, I'm not in a T100 and I've been in Germany for the last 4 years, but I'm in a 92 4Runner, I'll get specifics up, My name is trevor and I used to go by Vandert on there I belive, but couldn't recover my password. There was Erik B who had a link to my old homepage for my truck, and Scott from Texas who seems he used to cave dive. I haven't logged on here since probably 2001 or 2002 but I'm back. This and Pirate were my first two BBS/forums back in the day, so I'm glad to be back. I have a 2002 Saleen Convertable that I have a metric ton done too as it's FAR from stock and I drove it and tuned it in Germany so it's geared and setup for roadrace and autocross as well as top end. The 4Runner will get all the normal stuff done but in NO hurry. I'll hopefully do a SAS on it but probably a year or two in the future. It's a 3.0 that just got a slew of work done to it to include head gasket, and almost everything top end replaced. It's got 195,000 on the bottom end but I did a compression check and it's Golden. I will get pic's up soon and I'm a gearhead to the fullest so I'll do alot of "trail" type of mods to it. It's got the Downey 2 inch springs in the back right now on some tiny tires, I'll probably go for some aftermarket rims and 32's when I get some funds as buying it depleted me. I now live in Florida - Destin area and will be a beach runner when i get done. It will never be wild, probably mild even once I get the flex of the SAS but I like to overbuild as well soooooooo...

Since I last visted the forums I built a 86 and SAS it out so I could have the 22re and then bought a 04 4Runner and took it to Germany with me. The Ex-wife now has an 06 and I've got this one along with my car. Soooo, no stranger to working on these and while i've never owned a 3.0, I've have a slew of knowledge on all things toyota:) If this engine goes I'll look at a 3.4 or an 05 up v8 out of a Tundra or Runner to go in here as I don't plan on getting out of this one anytime soon, Paid Cash for it today. Pic's will come, as well as mods and lots of post I'm sure.

I'm back:)

Welcome back!

Sounds like you've owned quite a few 4Runners! I'm jealous!

I'll pass the information along about recovering your username/password so you can use your previous handle.

I found one of my old post that is sadly listed under Anonymous, it was from 2001 or 02, I sent the post number to EriKB as he used to post alot in my forums and we had convo's I belive he will remember me, sent him the PM and we'll see if it can be recovered, if not, oh well, I was a member here since 99 or 00 so I've been around for a while:)

Ordered a Dynomax exhaust for it, some Aisin hubs to convert it, and goign to get an intake and some Ball joint spacers for the fronts as I belive the torsen bars are cranked, all this will happen pretty soon then I'm going to go with some 33x10.50's in hopes of not being too underpowered and I'll gear it with 4.88's or 5.29's within a few months of the other mods. Still in the air on weather to mod the IFS further with say a 4inch lift or just save my funds and SAS it as I have in the past, this will see moderate trails at most in it's lifetime, but I've always overbuilt...
