I said that too.

After drinking some kool aid now I'm here to report that everything is as has been explained to us. Somalians are just evil people who just haven't learned to share their pristine oceanfront. It was never their main source of livelihood and trade nor was it their only source of sustenance - they actually import bon bon's from Germany and red wine from Italy - backstabbing bastards biting the hand that feeds them!

The waring tribal faction running things right now is obviously not in it for control or anything other than to bring the maniacle citizenry in line...and would never sell out to under the table business deals with European Corps in order to fund their operations. What's $1K a ton or $2.50 a ton? - pocket change either way. Investigations into these matters are absolutely PREPOSTEROUS!!!!!!

......

These pirates, who have obviously developed a skill and a new line of work - were at one time fishermen. But when you sell fish from a cesspool - you tend to not sell as many. The coast used to be the livlihood of HUNDREDS of thousands of people. Fishermen banded together, co-opted fighters from their civil war, and went to work.

All to say while we sit hear ranting 'F*** Em All' on our keyboards, they're saying the same thing on their way to another freighter.

This tin foiler has taken it way to far eh? (or as one here has expertly concluded before - 'Photoshopped')

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRET, LOOK AT THE PUPPIES!!!!
especially the one on the far right... he is so up to something.
i dont doubt that they were once fishermen, or fisherkids back when that was viable. but since then the somali malitias (or pirates in this case) are just like the child soilders in other parts of africa. drug and booze fueled violence has become a way of life because of the necessity and the fact that its all they know. i dont know much about the "waste issue", however i would speculate that its nothing more than a excuse to do what they do... i would argue that they couldnt care less. i dont think that all samalis are bad, like i dont think that all arabs are bad... just some, and it would appear that the bad have become the face representing the goods plight. should we help the good ones? sure... but there needs to be alot of asskicking first.
somalia is just be another african country that the world turned it back on because the only natural resource it has to export is a script for a depressing movie.

I would argue the kicking should start where the problem began. If the US threw some exposure and legal weight toward proceedings on behalf of Somalia for reparations we wouldn't see yet more of this kind of greeting in their waters

Toxic waste aside - military intervention of the modern forumla never will, as it never has - solve anything

Ron Paul is basically saying that the ships must be armed with automatic stationary machine guns. This is exactly what I am saying.

You know... F Somalia and all the people who live there. If Clinton would of ramped up the heat after the Blackhawk incident. We might not of had things like this happening. O shi- I just blamed Clinton for something happening on Obama's watch... Obama really is untouchable.

Calling in the United States Navy to intervene...dumb...as today's headlines demonstrate.
