And very serious expedition. Other trucks are no less serious but we can't be impartial to Pajero. Can we? Expedtion is ongoing right now. Sorry site is in Russian they have pictures though. Their goal is to travel length of Kamchatka peninsula (they are actually done with this part) then sway south-west to Magadan (that's where Turtle III Expedition started if you know what I'm talking about) following south to Vladivostok. There are pretty much no roads no services, only seasonal ice roads in places, lots of roadless areas, very inhospitable terrain and severe climate. I'd say it would be an equivalent of driving from Juneau to Fairbanks to Anchorage then back to Seattle straight through. All of it without using TransAlaskan hwy. From what I read Pajero proven to be very reliable.

My kids are from Russia, souther Siberia east of the Urals. I often daydream of hitting the lotto big and doing a cross Russia expedition. Not as extreme as these guys though...

the only thing i know about kamchatka is that i always lump a bunch of armies on it when i play risk... just gotta hold no.america .
that thing looks pretty bad though. i wonder how much better it is with the tracks instead of those balloons they run. how much longer do you think it will take for partytruck to chime in and say that its in the jv league because it doesnt have a v8, 30"'s of lift and running 48" tires on portals .

The MaTrax will really slow you down, max speed of 40mph and serious gear reduction. On the plus side they will not sink in tundra

If you're out in BF NoWhere, you don't want to be hot-footin' it and break stuff. At least here you can put a welder on a copter and fly it out. These are in pretty common use in Nome/Kotzebue. Make 'em for ATV's too.

I'd rather trek Russia on one of these tho'

Yeah, Yeah, I wasn't talking about trail blazing but the thousands of miles it takes to get to the trail blazing spot

Those things are Monsters! They eat small 4x4's for breakfast.

Some of those videos are sweet, they really know how to push a truck to the limit, and abuse it
