Need a Spot
Hey I been having this stinky rotten egg smell coming from my Kia after driving it for a while. Not sure what it could be coming from. Think its the A/C or Heater core? Any one have this problem to? is there a way to fix it? I got a strong stomach but when stopped at a light i can smell it with the windows down and sometimes even through the vents.

Body Damage is Cool
Welcome, you have just joined the best Kia forum on the web. There are some very knowledgeable people here. You will find that your Kia will shock alot of wheelers on the places it will go. With a mild lift and longer rear shocks they have a lot of rear wheel travel, just make sure you don't go so long your springs fall out. Also make sure you protect your oil pan, they are kind of in harms way.

Have fun, Dennis

i would guess the catalytic converter, wont always act sluggish either..if its coming thru ur vents its probably coming from outside of ur car...never heard of a heater or air conditioning part smelling like rotten eggs, usually that would be more like dirty socks...a bad battery or overcharging battery can also give that sulfur (rotten egg) smell <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

What happened to this thread, it started out as a new member that bought his wife a sporty and turned into rotten eggs? Some how they got mixed up and the original post is gone.

If the rotten egg smell is coming for outside and working is't way in as you come to a stop it is most likely the catalytic converter, if it is originating inside I'm stumped.
