Hi guys , it's official , I am selling my Trooper that I built. If anyone has been following my build over the years , you know how much work and parts went into this project , but I just don't have the time to finish it up like I wanted. For anyone that has air-care or emissions testing , this truck will NOT pass the tests , although I have been using it as a daily driver since I built it.It makes a hell of a 4x though for anyone that is looking for a good offroader and doesn't want to do a whole lot of work or put a lot of parts into it.The body is not the greatest , but I wasn't worried about that right away , although I did put new front fenders on it as they were rusted really bad when i got the body.

Thats all I can think of off hand for whats been done to the truck and on the truck , if I think of anything else , will post it.Here is a list of what I have for spare parts
-universal joint
-original 2.8 engine
-spare auto tranny and extra belhousing
-kit to fill air conditioning
-fiberglass hood scoop (covers most of the hood)
-everything you need to add power windows and power locks
-spare MSD coil
-digital fuel guage that will fit in the normal area( have a large one for now , was going to replace the oil and temp guages in the cluster with matching ones but never got the other 2)
-all kinds of misc parts like extra doors , lights , etc.
I will have to look and see what else I have laying around for extra parts that never got put where they were supposed to go.
There are a couple of issues that I never had time to fix , but they aren't major and don't affect the trucks drivability at all.
1- there is a small leak in the transmission fluid lines somewhere , I am guessing most likely on the cooler I had installed as once a month the tranny will go into limp mode , so you just add a little fluid and your good to go again.
2- there is also an issue with the brake fluid leaking from somewhere as again , once a month the fluid is down and needs to have some readded.Again I am thinking this is an easy fix , just a matter of finding where it is going.
3- last time I went 4xing in it , I hit a stump with the corner of where the bush bumper is welded to the frame and it cracked it , that needs to be re welded and maybe some ectra support.Right now I have a piece of angle iron on there to hold it on so it doesn't come loose and rip off the bumper and winch , again an easy fix.
4- There is an occasional clunk from the front , and I am pretty sure its the common problem that the aisin hubs have with the little allen bolts coming loose , or maybe even the clip , again an easy fix.
Thats pretty much it , the truck starts fine , runs strong , and has lots of power and is pretty much unstoppable
I do have a piece of steel that was going to be used to fix under the driver side doors as that is rusting , and the rest of the body work can easily be done also. Here are a couple pictures I took of the truck , not sure if it shows , but there are dents on the rear doors at the top , that was done while the truck was being lifted to put on the frame , the straps tightened a little too much with the weight of the truck.

Now for the price , I am asking 2700 , and I think that is very reasonable considering all the parts that are in this truck.even if you found a very cheap trooper and wanted to build it up like this , you would be putting out at least 5000+ to get all the parts and stuff. This is a 1 of a kind truck as it has a custom starter setup to fit the headers , complete custom fuel system with a 19 gallon fuel cell , and a few of the other things that were done during the build up.
As for location , its in my signature.I would not hesitate for a second to take this truck on a long trip as it sits right now , as I have driven it across western canada right after I built it with no testing All you need is to take some fluids with you and keep an eye on the levels.
I hate to part with this truck as I put a lot of work into it , but with no time to do anything to it , I had to go get something I can use as a daily driver and not have to worry about upkeep and stuff.I will still be on the forums though as I bought a Jeep
