Our Cruiser club is taking our annual trip to the Outer Banks. We're starting off on Ocracoke Island Thursday, then heading north the next few days. We have all sorts of activities planned, incl kayaking, canoeing, surf fishing, alcohol (only at camp), lighthouses, and of course beach driving. We also have an NPS Ranger coming to our Saturday catered dinner to discuss the OBX ecosystem, and a mayor of one of the towns on OBX coming to talk about how beach access and recreation-based tourism sustains his community.
