What is the red lamp in the cluster mean? Its on the right side with what looks like a person with a seat belt on and a ball on his lap? Charging indicator? I Can's seem to find anything on KGIS about it but the ideal that it might be a charging system.

it's the airbag system light, could be just the fuse or could be the airbag mod. if it's the airbag mod. it has to be reset by the dealer. could be the clockstring in the steering airbag assemy. hope this helps.

If your check engine light is on at least you know the light still works

Well. I was looking to take the air bags out but. Got a bit nervous with all the different wires. and the Orange and blue mods i suppost to play with did't do it. But its not the fuse under the driverside, don't know if there is one under the hood my labels got trashed. But if i pull the fuse under the driverside dash, Will this prevent them from deploying them selves? I can't seem to find out why the light keeps flashing, I looked up inside it did't see the wires getting grounded anywhere. But about the clockspring or whatever what could be wrong with this object? What would be a good way to fix it?

if you pull the fuse the light will be on all the time and not blink, when it blinks does it stay for about a second then blind for about 6 times then start over ? it's most likely the airbag mod. the dealer is the only one who can reset it. make sure the key is not in the ign. and the car must not be running when you pull the fuse. if you don't want the airbag system to be op. the pull the fuse and put a piece of tape over the light on the dash, it is bright at night.

Yes it blinks about 6 times then starts over. I pulled the fuse and now it stays on. I called the dealer ship and they want 100$ just to dignost the system that don't include fixing the problem. Don't have 100$ right now and I really don't even want the airbags. Was going to take them out but got to doing it yesterday and found out the bags are glued to the Interior covers and could't get balls to peel them off. Might make them Deploy.

just leave them in, pull the fuse, and if you don't want the light on you could remove the instr. panel and pull the light. but I have never had the panel off to even know how and if the lights they can be replaced. I had this happen to me also but I got lucky and got a airbag mod of ebay ( the #'s must match ) I looked and looked for the clockspring but could not get one easy so I went ahead and put in the mod. and it worked the light went off. if it hadn't I would be in the same boat as when I started I would have had to go to the dealer.

Good Luck !
