Getting the Wheeling Fever
So this is what getting layed off feels like.Went to work at 8 this morning.Boss ran out to my sporty and said "Im gunna have to lay you off. There just isint any work for you here" I was a flooring warehouse manager. It has been really slow there.Good thing i overheard him telling his wife he was going to lay me off last week.Called up one of our carpet installers and i can start with him monday Ex boss can kiss my

hope your new job stay's buzzy, we have been working 4 days a week, with a bunch of week lay offs here and there, off this friday and next friday. they layed off 1/2 our work force, and with GM and the other auto guy's, closing plants it's going to hit harder, we are a supplier to their supplier. the funny part is if we don't work any hours that week they pay for our med insur. if I add the med insur. on to my unemploy. check there is only about $15 between them. thats a whopping .47 cents a hour for 32 hours. plus they called a few weeks ago and said we will be getting a adjustment on passed unemploy checks about $25 more, that would mean I pay work to work for them. oh well thats the dream

Body Damage is Cool
Just don't burn any bridges, you never know when things pick you may need that job again or need them for a referance. I have never been layed off but I have been bumped out of departsment I hated but had to rely on them later and was welcomed back. A bad job is usualy better than no job.

Good luck with your new job, Dennis
