was out 4 wheeling today and the front end started to screech pritty loud.I thaught it was the breakes. When i got home i layed under the car while it was out of 4x4.Stun the front dive shaft bye hand and only the driver side cv axel would spin. The passenger is kinda hard to turn bye hand. Whats the fix, sounds like a wheel bearing? or maybe just mud in it?

Take the hubs off, re-pack the bearings and hubs with grease, clean out any and all old grease and crap thats in there. Chances are you just got water and mud into the hubs or bearings! You should re-pack the bearings everytime you do a water crossing or wheel in mud, also check the rear drums to make sure you don't get any mud build up in them!

I'm guessing you have mud behind the brake pads, pull it all down and give it a good clean. If that doesn't fix it then attack the bearings (simple/cheap stuff first). Could also be a seized brake piston from the mud, so try to ascertain if there is any movement of the piston with brake application (with brake pads in place and on the disc.
Any chance mud could have gotten into the wheel bearings through a dislodged old vacuum line on the back of the knuckle???
People do the right thing and replace the hubs with the manuals and dont bother to pull the vacuum lines off the back and plug the hole. Hoses rot/get caught, water + dirt + mud = noisy bearings.
Glue a bolt into the end of the nipple that takes the vac hose on the knuckle. Pull all the associated bits away and do a similar theing to the vac supply line from the manifold.
The hub itself (the bit you buy from Warn) will not make any noise on its own if you can fully rotate the dial to the locked/unlocked position.

It's fairly fast and simple, and something you should do when ever you do a water crossing or play in the mud! You'll most likely find some water and dirt in the hubs, take a look at the colour grease your putting in and compare it to that your pulling out and you'll see why! I have a tub of grease in my trail bag just incase!
