I am just getting around to putting a new fender on the montero and want to put the snorkel back on but the scans of the template that I got from some one here are not right. They do not match. I have even tried enlaging the scans with now luck. I would like to know is some one still has there and would be willing to mail them to me. I will pay for shipping both ways. To me and back to you. Some help on this would be great.

I have a copy that was scanned. I forget who sent it, Angelo maybe (sorry!). I don't have it on my laptop at work though. Don't think I posted it up to MitsubishiLinks yet either.

Maybe it's a different scan. I'll keep an eye on this thread and look at home if still needed.

I believe I have the same scans. When printed up and put together it does not mach the snorkel. I have tried enlarging it and making it smaller. Still a no go. Maybe I am doing something wrong

Make your own template.

To make the template I would use the snorkel and trace its outline on thin cardboard.

Cutout the big hole first and then put the cardboard on the snorkel and trace its outline, remove and cut the template out.
Put the template back on the snorkel, tape it down so it will not move, using an awl or nail, locate and punch the centers for the small holes.

Using the template, locate the correct angle on the windshield pillar and transfer the hole to the fender. If you have the old fender it can assist you in your efforts.

I may have over explain, but it may help some. Let us know the results.

Hey Brian. Sorry I forgot about this project you were asking about.. I have my orginals. Let me know if you need them if Bourge cant locate his.

Did you get the scanned ones I sent to someone else? I can copy the orginal ones and just send them to you. After I copy them, I can hold the copy and the orginal up to the light and see if the lines line up straight, then I can mail it to you
