Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread 86 4Runner runs rough on hot restart #944005 05/06/09 06:16 AM Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 104 Tucson,Az L lawnmowerman OP Wheeler I have a 86 4Runner(22re) it runs great,but when the motor is hot and restarted after sitting 10-15 minutes it runs rough for a couple of minutes then clears out and runs fine.If I shut it down and restart it right away it runs fine also.This doesen't happen all the time and it is something that I can live with but I would like to figure it out.It holds good fuel pressure and starts perfect on cold starts.Leaky injectors and cold start injector can be pretty much be ruled out.Maybe dirty EGR Valve?Anyone else run across this problem?
