I've been using this site to get local repeater information: K5EHX Amatuer Radio Repeaters

I especially appreciate the repeater range rings feature and the "Covering this point" feature. Makes finding 2-meter and 70-cm repeaters in my area a really fun prospect. Plus, I can map an entire trip and program my radio so I always have a repeater in range.

That's a pretty cool resource Clay. I wonder if it's something that can be downloaded (full interactive interface not just list of repeaters) or is available via different source for download?

Some repeaters are linked over internet, and that provide possibility to communicate over very long distance using even hand-held radio.
There are two most popular linked systems: IRLP and Echolink
