Thanks again all. Funeral arrangements have been finalized and it's agonizing to hear everyone crying all the time. I wish I had the power to easily minimize the sorrow we all feel especially my mom.

Tough one. Sorry to hear. Lost my father when I was 19 and in the USAF. He was also a great man. As I get older I now realize how great he really was for friends and family.

I am sorry to hear about your father.

I look up to my father very much. He has been an inspiration to me. Everyday I see some of him in myself and in my children. Though I did not live with him most of my life, he still managed to stay in life.

Yesterday was a tough day. 1st viewing day where so many friends and family came. There must have been a couple of hundred who showed up. Didn't realize he had that many friends. The toughest was when his closest friends spoke about him and better times. Today is the 2nd viewing day and tomorrow the funeral.
