I have a 1991 4Runner V6 5spd that gets really hard to shift when the transmission warms up and every time I go to put it into reverse it grinds, I'm worried this is a major problem and I'm not sure what to do. I've put a new clutch in about 5000 km ago and a new slave cylinder about 1000 km ago.
Please help and thank you in advance for any help I get.

Amsoil tranny lube.
It couldn't hurt and it made a big difference in my 1991 22RE 5 speed about 3 years ago.

Or Redline MT90
Reverse syncro probably going out. Should still work fine for years to come, just noisy.

Thanx guys! I changed my tranny oil with some Castrol synthetic oil and it has made a world of a difference. Nothing changed with my reverse but forward gears are great.
