I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Have 95 T-100 3.4 V6.It started missing just all of a sudden. Check engine light came on and all that. Took to parts place and had it scaned. It scanned random misfire on 1 3 4 5 6. I've already replaced plugs and wires and two coil packs. The ignition control module is good. I put it in my friend truck and it worked in it. Timing looks to be ok. I asked the parts guys about the ecm being bad and he said no. That it would show the code for that. The only code I get is for the random misfire..Any ideas??

Sounds like may be a broken vacume line somewhere. Sometimes they are hard to find. I'd look for one. Welcome to the forum!

What kind of plugs did you put in?
Does it misfire only when cold? After it comes to temp?
Are any of the spark plug wires touching the block/exhaust manifold?
Got any piccies of yer engine bay? Maybe something in the piccie will show something that yer overlooking... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I put Denso plugs in it with the dual electrodes. No wires touching the manifold. It misses cold or hot.

Check and clean all your battery connections, especially the small ground wire going from the battery to the body. Watch the volt guage while its running (if you have one) to see if is low. It should read higher running and charging than not running. If it reads lower, then that is likely your problem.

Not sure if there is a cam sensor on this engine. Just moved from the 3.0 to the 3.4 so I'm learning new things about the 5vzfe now... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Not sure if the knock sensor would affect it or not either... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah there is a cam sensor it is in the plastic timing cover on the passengers side. Down by where it meets the metal front cover/"fan bracket" part.

I've never heard of a crank or cam sensor failing, so I think its pretty unusual.
There are about a hundred different things that can cause a misfire. They are one of the hardest symptoms to troubleshoot. However, you can eliminate a handful of things knowing that the problem is not specific to a single cylinder.
Start with the basics (and easy/cheap/free) stuff before you start throwing random parts at it.
I've seen problems identical to what you describe that were SIMPLE, FREE fixes- like a poor ground connection.
