In the rebuilding process for my '93 I've had to pull numerous engines and heads to get ones that are in good condition. In one of my trips to the junkyard I came across a camshaft that had been ground down by a stuck roller rocker.

Somebody drove for a looooonnnnnnggggg time with that.
