Getting the Wheeling Fever
Does anyone know how much of a pain in the butt replacing the front E - Brake Cable on a 93 extra cab with a 22re and a five speed is? Mine unfortunately has snapped in half.

Body Damage is Cool
Not bad actually. Hardest part is getting under the dash to unbolt the handle assembly, but not too bad. Remove the 90 degree pivoter on the firewall, engine side. The rest is pretty simple and self explainatory.

Assuming the assembly didn't change much over the years, after you remove the handle assembly, there is a flat pin that needs to be knocked out of the handle bar. There is a hole to align it. don't try twisting it out, it'll break. After you get it out, you need to twist the handle around about 180 degrees to get the swaged cable end out. Once you get the cab side connected and reassembled, you can route it to the first joint. I did mine twice because I was sent the wrong size (sent a short bed cable and I have a long bed) The first time I did it from the dash first and the second I connected under the truck first. It's easier from the cab first, but I had to do some work under the truck so started there.
