I don't really know much about A/C but my A/C went out after working really well it would no longer blow cold air. So I went and got a recharge kit thinking I was just low. However, once I started recharging I noticed that there is a hole in the pipe that goes across the front of the radiator. Is there any way to replace this myself since the system is pretty much empty. If so, where would I find this piping and how would I go about replacing it. Or should I just take it into a shop and have them do it. Thanks in advance.

Probably only can get the pipe from the dealer, it simple should unscrew. Then you would need to totally refill the system.
