What leds would i need to use to change the dash lights. 85 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4 4cyl. We did at one point have a really great LED thread going. If you do go this route, you need to put a 1k resistor on the positive side (anode) of the led. The white ones are pretty harsh, especially if you are using a bunch of them so maybe think about putting one blue one in the dash to tone it down a bit. Should be bright and cool. I'll probably do this as well at some point. I'm slowly losing mine, one by one.
