Has been some time since last visit..

The Paj is now at 145K (On the road in Feb 06 @ 74K) and is still the Daily Driver.

Washed the K&N, Damn it was dirty..

I still get 10.5 to 10.6 L/100km.

Had 2 instances of rear rotor lock on the (RHD wise) driver side which went away.. I will probably do the water pump in Sept / Oct for winter prep and have the Calipers rebuilt at the same time..

I would guess I have one more year planned for her.. One of the brokers is advertising LHD kits for 1600 parts / 2200 installed for their 93 and up units.. So I may get the itch to go 2.8 L short body in late '10.

Unless Nissan changes its mind (again) and fronta Diesel Frontier for '11. It was planned for '10 but the global auto market squashed that.

Picked up 12 Oil filters at $10ea during my Nicaragua vacation.. Certainly makes those Rotella T changes less painfull on the pocket book...

Phil, et al, Hello again..

Thanks for the info Billy. I'll be going to Guatemala next February and will certainly be shopping for parts there.

Just curious - did you get a timing belt change done in Ontario and if you did, who did it and did they do a good job? My 1991 SWB will hit 100k this late winter or next spring so I'm looking for someone I can rely on. I'm in Ottawa but don't mind traveling to a good mechanic.

any tips or advice gratefully accepted.

John
