My 92 died suddenly this morning, and I suspect an ECM failure. I'm hoping to find someone with a 92-94 montero that I could use your ECM for just a minute to confirm the bad part. Let me know! I'll make it worth your time.

For what it's worth, it turned out not to be an ECM failure. I discovered (in the pouring rain) that the small screw that holds the rotor on the distributor shaft had fallen out. Screwed it back in, started right up. I think this may be part of why I couldn't get the timing right, too.

Future reference I have a 95 and live in extreme northern kansas and about 150miles from CO and like to travel <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
