We all know 3 different ones
the 4.44 the diesel have
the 4.6something
and the 4.7something
A friend of mine diskovered in his stock sport ( gasoline manual 16valves ) a 4th one
and what a forth one it is...
40 teeth ring and...... 12 pinion...
He claims he counted the teeths right...
I personaly dont take it for granted since we are talking for a waaaaaaaaaaay long ratio
but thought appropriate just to mention it to you...

What does his speedo read at 3000 rpm?

Didnt ask that - good point
but asked twice about the gearing and confirmed them
Dont know if I have told you before
But we found also a gasoline engine one, having the diesel onew from factory
it was a 2003 "short" 2door version, one of the last ones to be produced obviusly and assembled with "left-overs"..

Have to check also the his tyres thow..

everet he is running 31 tyres
at 5th gear at 3000 has 100-110 km/hour
What do you make on that?
