Well my little truck went off to the body shop for some minor dent repair and paint by my brother inlaw.But after a few beers and some talk about old Broncos and some carefull and not so carefull thinking and more <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> it happened out came some tools and the shorty pickup began.

I will post more pics as things move along. But I need some help on what colour to paint it.Im thinking some kind of bright blue.

I'm going to finish my coffee break by researching roof top tents and I'll stop thinking of how I can cut a couple hundred pounds of my truck and make it look super cool.

Spider, it looks great! What are you're plans for finishing off the inside of the box (Eric want's to know as I'm now banned from this thread)?

The sides will be checker plate where the panels use to be and painted sheet metal on the rest. Not sure about the floor yet. The back section is welded in place now and we are fabricating the flat roof. Should get welded in this week.I will post some pics when this part is complete.

Next step will be to finish the box and smooth out the back door ( no tire mount )

Will you be mounting the spare in the new bed? Your rear roof section is from a 4-door? Are you retaining the wiper?
