Need a Spot
Hi every one my name is Brandon. I am starting a build called cheap truck build not to be confused with cheap truck challenge by 4wheeler magizine.
I am looking to get local or non local sponsors to help me build a street legal, trail machine, that I plan to wheel at all the local 4x4 Farms and parks, even local car shows to try and entroduce people to this sport that may not have any idea that there is such a thing. I plan on driving this thing every where I want to wheel so it has to wheel great and be mild mannered on the road.

Here is what I have planned to build
Suzuki Samuria I will need two I plan to stretch to a wheel base of 105" so I plan on stretching the body and frame 22".
Toyota drive train 22r, tranny, and t-case, and axles out of mid 80's I have most of this thanks to Eric Cryts construction in Malden Mo. Thanks easy E. but the 22r is blown up.
4.7:1 rans fer case maybe even a doubler
5.29 axle gears of even lower. aussie lockers front and rear
4link suspinsion
37's

I will post more as things come around thanks guys and gals. [color:"red"] [color:"red"]

An updated list of all I plan to do well the parts I need and want to build it out of.

Body: Samurai body and frame x2
Stretch frame and body 22"
tube front and rear fenders
simple cage using existing hoops
pin the hinges on the doors
stinger front and rear bumpers
roof rack and tire carrier

Engine: 22r, rebuild kit
low to mid rpm cam
carb rebuild kit

Trans: I will use stock 5speed out of 84 SR5 4Runner

T-Case: Trail Tamer 5.0:1 or Trail Creeper 4.7:1? Which is better?
T-Case rebuild kit
Twin stick and boot

Drive shafts: I plan to use two front shafts out of Toyota pickups or 4 runner I already have one, still need one.

Front Axle: Better than stock Birfields 4340
Knuckle rebuild kit w/wheel bearings
rock rings
Ball Gussets
5.29 ring and pinion
Aussie Locker
High steer/cross over steering
Knuckle studs

Rear axle: 5.29 Ring and pinion
Aussie Locker
rear axle service/wheel bearings and seals

Suspinsion: Coil springs out of stock Ford ranger, Jeep Cherokee, wrangler
custom build radius arms front and rear w/panhard bar front and rear
Hyme joints two at axle and one at frame per. Radius arm.
Slide rear axle back 3"

I know don't sound like a cheap truck build but I plan to do it with as much sponsor ship as possible, and parts from junk yards.
