Checked on the Kia website last night and they had a match with the cash for clunkers on the Spectra EX. So if I bought one and traded in my clunker they would have given me $9000 off on it. Went to the local Kia dealer this morning and they knew absolutely nothing about it and also said they would not take in a clunker unless everything was perfect (what ever that means). Just checked Kia's website and there is nothing about the match. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

Should have printed that page out & taken it with you.
So let me get this right....They will only take "Perfect Klunkers"? Maybe an old car that was parked and covered after leaving the yard then I guess.

I've got a 94 S-10 that's on it's last legs, it's been insured for the past year but part of the time it was only comprehensive, the way the fed's are nitpicking it probably wouldn't qualify and even if it does it sounds like the local Kia dealer doesn't want to waste their time finding out.

I should have printed it and the wife tell's me I should have too. Oh well. too late now. Kia is offering $3000 cash back on the website now on the same vehicle, but it says to check with the dealer for details. After what I went through this morning I'm not going to bother.

For me and the wife at our business we are looking for another Kia Rondo (3rd row seat) <already got 3>.
The dealer in Mission TX does not want to give us a $3000 rebate (that i read from junkers for crappers) on a KIA motors of America Advirt from my E-Mail.
Forget about all that non-sense...I say!
........Guess that is why KIA is not going bankrupt like the others!
