Well I figured I'd update. It's not the kind of update yall were hoping for...

Right now I do not have a great garage setup for attempting something like this. My wife and I decided to buy the lot behind our house and build a nice big garage or hanger...

So...these projects are not gonna be anytime soon. In fact I'm going to sell the GEN1 to help fund the land. My GEN2 is way too beat up to put that kind of time into. So I think the best route for the future is to sell the GEN1, drive the GEN2 into the ground, and buy an SR to twin turbo. I think that makes the most sense.

You've got at least as much garage as I do. Then again, no TT underway in mine...

Now when you get around to doing a twin turbo and if you were to be doing it with a Gen2, would it look a bit like this in it's early stages?

Yeah I'm just spoiled. Going from a 10,000 sq ft air conditioned shop with lifts, a dyno, and every resource imaginable to a little house garage that doubles as a laundry room is quite anti-motivating. I think the straw that broke the camels back is the inclined driveway lol.

I just finished my 5 year plan and it includes a TT SR and a 11 second GVR4, so I'm pretty excited. I just need to focus on this house and garage project.

edit: Now we're tlaking! That looks good. I'll probably use smaller turbos (and shinier valve covers :p )

Hey guys, its been a little over a year. Thought I would check in. I'm still loving my GEN2. It's got a lot of body damage now from off road fun so it's a little embarrassing driving it to work lol.

So, the time is drawing very close. The house is almost finished. My wife is looking really hard to find a 94-96 SR for me. We are both really excited about the twin turbo SR. She said the only rule is to keep it under 500HP hehe. She gets a little scared after that.

So if Scott will sell me his, I'll be all set (hint hint) There is a really nice one about an hour from here but it's green. I'm really trying to avoid green. Do yall know of any for sale??? Thanks!!

Hey Matt, glad to see you back on the board. The oz board had a 3.5 in a Gen 1. I've been looking for the 3.5 myself. The AZ crew put JohnnyB's 3.5 in a Gen 1., but it's not TT. Good luck on finding one, I have yet to find an SR for less than 3k . Kind of hard to swallow ripping the Engine out of that.
