There's a case in a Target near here where some random old man slapped a kid whose mother wouldn't make the little darlin' behave/shut up/cease some kind of obno behavior. Mixed feelings on that one. There's a whole herd of little darlin's I'd liked to have smacked. More parents I'd like to do the same to...

This is why all those laws for what seems so obvious end up getting passed!

That's the scary part, those people have kids <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> I know some people will disagree with me. but I think it should me MANDATORY that any couple should have to pass a test to become parents. My very wealthy and well established sister and brother-in-law are trying to adopt right now. They were denied over the smallest little things that are completely irrelevant to raising a child. And then we see parents that are clearly un-fit able to raise there kids just because they are physically able to re-produce. I think it is a load of horseSH*T. Natural parents should have social workers breathing down there neck just like adoption parents do, I don't see how it should be any different.

The social workers are mostly scarier than the parents. And dumber. My wife supervises child welfare social workers.
Not too far from agreeing with you about a license to reproduce, though...

Wow! After reading that I'm going to have to think hard about buying from Wal-Mart again.
