Man, when it rains it pours!

Started the truck up this morning and heard a low-pitched groan coming from the engine bay. Perfect.

As I pulled away, it became much louder and higher pitched in relation to engine rpm. When I turned the wheel, it really squealed. The sounds went away by the time I arrived at work, but I know something's wrong. Also a very very slight vibration from the steering wheel if I'm turning while it's groaning.

Checked my power steering fluid and it's fine. No leaks. But, I'm assuming the bearings in the pump go bad after a while. Does this sound like a bad power steering pump?

I've never had to replace one before, so I'm not sure it's the pump or what's involved in replacing it...

Any info? Thanks! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
