Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well took everybody's advice and changed out the PCV, (That was fun) Also changed out the coolant hoses that go into the idle motor. Mew wires, cap, and rotor. It still runs like crap at idle and blows smoke back up through the engine. If I leave the oiler filler cap on it builds up a pretty good amount of pressure until I release it. I am stumped! Could the cat be plugged? What else could be causing so much back pressure???

Rings, a holed piston or a blown head gasket - you're pressurizing the sump.

You can test for a clogged cat with a vacuum gauge on the intake manifold. It will start up with a decent ammt of hg and then vac gauge will drop down. Or unbolt the cat on the manifold side and go for a loud ride. Now doing a compression test is the easiest way to check for bad rings, valve seats, or a hole if you are that unfortunate. Bottom line is you can test all this yourself with < $50 of gauges.
