On my 95 SR (which rolled on its side) I must have a short as it is draining and killing my batteries. I have looked around a little for any exposed positive wires but was wondering if you all had any insight as to a probable cause or likely place to look. Also when I do turn the vehicle on the windshield wipers do stay on when the switch is off.?

Start with a multimeter or test light on the battery. Run it in line with the cable. With the key off the light should only stay on for a split second.

If you have a short it will probably stay on indefinitely. If you get to this point then you can start pulling fuses to narrow down which circuit has the short. Since the windshield wipers are acting funky, start with that fuse. When the light goes out, you have found the circuit.

Did it roll onto the passenger side? I know there's a grommet behind the battery with a pretty good sized loom of wires running into the cabin. If you rolled on the pass. side, I wonder if the battery might have slid into that loom, and caused it to short to the body?

It's definitely a long shot, but it just popped into my head after having run my O.P. gauge wires through that grommet recently...

Battery is on the opposite side of the gen1.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
