so i finally got the new trany in but the bolts that hold it to the engine keep vibrating loose and shake the whole jeep when its running. any thoughts on a quick fix?

Use locktite on them.. Then check your driveshaft for vibration. Something is shakeing them loose. Most of them stay where theya are put.
As a side note are they the correct size bolts?

they are the ones that came out of the old tranny so i know they fit the holes to the engine. i also have a broken rear engine mount. could that cause them to wiggle out?

That is part of the problem....

Fix the motor mounts and lock-tight the bolts.

If problems continue, you may have a drive shaft out of balance or u-joint issues.

[color:"blue"]Why would you even bother to ask? OF COURSE that could cause them to wiggle out! [/color]
