Getting the Wheeling Fever
Rebuilt my 22re 11K ago and am having some head gasket issues. In breaking it down I found oil in the intake manifold. What's that about?

Sounds like blowby. Could be something as simple as a clogged PCV valve, could be something as bad as worn out piston rings. Replace the PCV valve first.

I'd also try the PCV first. If it's clogged, the pressure built up in the engine is going to try and find a place to go. Usually your dipstick is popped out too.

The oil was dark and the pcv had some anti-freeze in it, so I'm guessing you're on target there. Thanks for the tips!
