You have to look at this from the positive angle of view. If Obama is getting the Nobel prize, it means that folks like Mugabe, Ahmadinegad, Putin, Kaddafi are NOT getting this prise this year. The prize is going to the USA. This is good.

Nomination 11 days after entering office and accomplishing nothing? It's not "good," it's pathetic.

Then again, even the libs are pissed.

I guess I could look at it this way.

For once a undeserved amount of money is being distributed, and I didn't pay for it through my taxes.

It could have been another cool million for ACORN instead.

Why does the committee feel compelled to award it to anyone?! If no one on the planet is truly deserving of it then don't award it. Obama hasn't done anything yet. If I was in his shoes, I'd be embarrassed. It's absurd.

There's only 4 or 5 of us on here and it's just now 8:40am pacific coast...give us a few minutes to recover from the shock.

Looks like Obama is getting the ultimate left cover from the globalists to continue his escelation of the war in Afghanistan and the preparation for the coming war in Iran.

We are most definately entering the relm of the surreal.

Imagine you're a left wing anti-war protester. You must be pretty darn confused right now. But, but, he's black and democrat, I can't protest him. But he is escelating wars and killing people. But, but, he won the Nobel Peace Prize. What do I do?

I know...I'll just shift over to protesting climate change. That one is far less confusing....der.

What do you know, we now have seen the first "Affirmative Action Nobel peace Prize", I guess Kanye West will be being honored by N.O.W. next.

If he really does feel that way he would refuse to accept it, but then again the Left has never believed that one should be rewarded for their merit. It really cheapens/diminishes the work that the rest of the prize winners have put in, as well as that of future winners.

If he was the best choice, the Nobel committee should have simply not awarded one this year.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

Say what?!! Obama prize defended

Let me get this straight. The committee has awarded the prize many times previously to enhance future plans/goals, but at the same time it has never awarded the prize for things that the awarded might do in the future. Huh?!!!

It was awarded to Obama for what he has done in the last year. Hang on everyone, I'll make a list;

1. errrrrrr!

OK, I give up

I guess it is better to award it to someone for doing nothing that to award it to Yassir Arafat or Henry Kissinger. It absolutely means nothing....Obama has nothing for peace. Quite the contrary he is pissing everybodu off equally.
