So, I've searched around and read a bunch of threads about swapping heater cores, but mostly they are written about Gen 1 trucks. Is it possible to swap the core without pulling the whole dash? Does the "cut the tube" thing work for 2nd Gens?
Also, I'm pretty underwhelmed by the air output with the heat. The fan has distinct steps of speed (at least sound) with each spot of the switch, but it doesn't seem like it moves much air. Do they get clogged on the outside? Is it worth pulling the fan and running the vacuum up there to get stuff out?
Thanks

I wouldn't say that a ton of air is pushed out of mine either but the air that does come out is super hot. Once the truck is warmed up, the heat gets turned halfway down and the fan is set to the slowest speed and sometimes off.
Check out the Mitsubishi Tech: Reference Thread page. In the first thread there is a link to the factory Service Manual.
