Hi all. I've been online looking at some replacement new aftermarket tailgates and I'm surprised at how cheap they are. Of course the shipping for something like that won't be cheap. $186.00 gets a new primed TG. Does anyone know of any of these -are they junk or what? Its way cheaper than doing the work on the old one or whats left of it.

CertiFit has them for ~$55.
One near you?
It is just the shell. Gotta swap your handle/latches/hinges.
I'd look into a fiberglass one myself though.
