getting a bit cold here in maine and i noticed a bit of gas smell when i turn on the heat. didnt notice it whend i had the ac on this summer. i remember the post about this but couldnt find it. anyone know what hoses have to be replaced? thank you <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Yep, at the front of the fuel rail is a circular fuel pressure regulator. The rubber hoses that attach to it tend to crack which causes the fuel smell.

very common. did mine last year. its just a 3-4 inch peice of feul line.

but get fuel injection hose,handles higher pressures.also need fuel injection clamps. regular hose clamps wont work.i learned that the hard way.you dont need to remove intake plenum,but it is tricky.did mine in five minutes.was quite happy .
and man is it nice when the smell of fuel goes away.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

gas smell is gone now, doing brakes now, having a hard time getting the disc off, did one side but the other side is F-N pain. any tips?

the 2 caliper bolts are different,the one with the rubber sleeve goes on top. i think.
i had to ask that on here once,think that was the answer i got. when you say disc do you mean rear drum? i use a steering wheel puller for that.or are you talking front discs? if so im runing duralast rotors. not to impressed.warrentied them after a year.second set not so bad. i cant stand a pulsating brake pedal.so i wouldnt consider getting rotors "turned". just buy new and spend a little more than you would like. beats doing it over again.keep us posted <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

im replacing the front rotors, got them from brake world. disc italia. i did the pass side, not a prob, but the driver side is hell, the two screws that hold it on r pissin me off! only thing i havent done is use a torch, think ive used a whole can of pb blaster so far!
