Getting the Wheeling Fever
I possibly am going to obtain this vehicle which is a turbo, FI vehicle:

My question is will my 1986 carb'd 22R go into this chassis without a whole lot of fiddling? The engine in the FI rig is not present but the 5 spd is.

If its the original R151F 5 speed from the turbo motor, its a rare tranny and worth some coin. You could sell it, then buy a regular W or g series trans and make a few bucks.

Well, I can have it....for $0. Problem now is I dont think we are going to be able to find a title. I will have to think on how to finagle this. I really need the body.
It is all original.

Take the VIN and do a title search with your DMV; they should have some info on your state's website. We get are able to obtain abandoned vehicle titles up here; just one of the tools we're offered.

I see its also still got plates on it; take that info with you too; at least then you'll know if it's a clear title; if not, you can get the lienholder info and go from there.

I will not suggest the less legit method while you still might have some options at your disposal. Find out what you can do; at least make sure it wasn't stolen!
