Getting the Wheeling Fever

92 montero rs. I took it into a shop and had them put it up on a lift to try and find a vibration. They said it's in the rear end. And it was probably a bearing. But it is so rusted they declined to work on it. Now I am wondering what it must be and how hard it is to replace the rear axle bearings. Any ideas?
