Well I was able to fit the specified 10.6 qts which it says in the owners manual is necessary for the cooling system but is that only what it takes to fill the radiator than?

Bam, thanks for that bit of info; need to update some things then.

X2 on distilled water for mix.

If you got in what the specs call for, then you're ready to run it and give 'er a burp; keep an eye on it for a week or so; top of as needed.
