Roll Me Over
Craig came over to the wet side of the Cascades and wheeled with my club, the Rainier Ridge Rams. We ran at Walker Valley, a Department of Natural Resources ORV area near my home. I rode along.

The club has a mix of vehicles from a lifted TJ with open diffs and 32s to a couple of Toyota pickups, one with dual t-cases and 35s and one with a 4.3 and 37s. We were also joined by a number of modified Samuris (we have a number of Suzukis in the club, one of which was also on the run).

Craig's '91 Trooper has a 3.4 and Aussie Lockers at both ends and runs on 31s, but isn't lifted. The Trooper did just fine. The front locker required more strong arm than he would have liked, but other than that the rig did fine. He did have a cooling problem on Sunday which cut the day short.

I have always enjoyed watching Craig's driving, but I had never ridden with him. It was fun to watch his choice of lines compared with what I would have chosen.

Cool. I didn't know Craig has a 3.4 in there, but he's not the sort to brag <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

And now you know why I went with the ARBs, particularly up front. (Well actually, the Aussies weren't available when I put the lockers in...)
