i have searched. old threads, not much info.

Here is what i know.
The Mitsubishi Jeep was in production til 98.
the best engine is the 2.7 Diesel Turbo Intercooled.

Rumor is that all the running gear is from the jeep platform.
Can anyone confirm?
dana 44 rear
dana 30 front
4.88 gearing
and i think same tranny/tcase from Pajeros???

They also made other engines. Notably the 2.6 gasser.

The newer year ones are pretty sweet looking. old cj5 styling.

Thanks
Tk

Rayman,
i think they are out of business temporarily?
i had my eyes on several but in the end good ole american muscle won. Nothing like a 350 in a jeep that has a wheelbase very similar to the Mitsubishi Jeeps

Now to decide if i keep the Pajero. It has been such a reliable and cost free machine. 28,000kms on it with zero problems.
Hmmmmmm......

Yes. My wife loves it, and will not let me sell it.
Its her car but she lets me drive it about once a month to check for any problems.

After she gernaded my TJ's 4 banger motor, she prefers i do a monthly drive in the Skyline
