Getting the Wheeling Fever

We have just finished welding up my friends Rollcage in his Ford Bronco.
It looks really well made and got me wondering about the Montero.
Would a full rollcage be practical or just the one big bar to secure better seatbelts into?
I am not worried about rolling it over but my friend rolled his Bronco twice now!
He is very sure that my Montero roof will " fold flat on my skull "
Has anyone rolled their SWB or built any type of cage.
aside from oyaji, i could not find a thing in the search.

people on here have pictures of their 2drs rolling in excess of 60mph and barely deformed. But if you want to do it, go for it.

keep an eye out for a factory roll bar in the junk yards. I think M&S has one. But i wouldn't worry about crushing the top too much there is a very rigid section in the roof for that reason.

He's very wrong about that. These are VERY crashworthy vehicles.

He's very wrong about that. These are VERY crashworthy vehicles. do you think the strength is still there on Monteros with aftermarket sun roofs? Thank you everyone for your insight.

If I'm not mistaken, that one in the video has a sunroof.
I saw a rolled 98. No problem with structural integrity, and it didn't even break the sunroof.

I have seen rolled Mitsus in junkyards, all still had a lot of head room.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
