Took my Trooper to get the oil changed and a lube today and ran into an idiot supreme, (I am being very cool right now) and the idiot broke the hood release cable.
Caught him using a pair of pliers on the cable to open the hood.
Managed to stop him at that point and finally was able to open the hood but the latch release end is broken at the nylon end point and won't reattach.
Any ideas on what other makes, models will work for it? Acura SLX, Honda Passport? Can't find the part in stock on line right now.
Thanks 1993 Trooper LS 255086 miles @ 11/30/09

Call St. Charles Automotive at 1-800-727-8066.
The Acura SLX part will certainly work as the SLX is a re-badged Trooper. The Rodeo/Passport are totally different animals, so while the part MAY work, it would be pure luck.
The Rodeo/Passport were made in the U.S., while the other two were made in the orient.
