Body Damage is Cool
So I bought a Glock. Personally, I cannot stand them, I like metal guns. I have only owned one other, a #17, back around 1994. I have wanted a pistol in .357 Sig for some time, just to play with the cartridge, but the guns are rather high priced. A generation III Glock #31 .357 Sig (Austrian import 1/2003) for $250.00 and bought it. The shop manager scrounged around and came up with two used ten round mags for $25.00, a take-down tool for $5.00, and a old style clam shell container for free off a storeroom shelf. With tax, about $295.00 OTD. I am buying a used S.O.B. holster for it tonight from a guy for another $25.00, and will purchase two new fifteen round mags @ $20.00 each then be done with it.

If I do not like it, or the cartridge, I can swap it to my brother for the S&W #908 9mm I got for him this past summer.

Great gun obviously... Kinda bizzaro cartridge though. It'll still shoot JUST fine though.

You might consider getting a wolf 3.5 lb trigger, or doing some transfer bar(trigger) work on it yourself.

Those factory triggers are kinda tough. Also make sure you know about "trigger reset" on these guns. That'll improve your shooting alot!

I have the take-down tool and can strip this Glock faster than Tiger Woods can strip a skank. I can even put it back together and it works. I could change out the trigger for about $20.00. I did learn about the trigger reset, thanks. I would prefer the generation 2.5 frame, with no finger grooves or rail, but those are not common.

I may not keep it for long, as I actually just wanted to experiment with the cartridge.
