Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Anybody got one or two bouncy seat frames for a Gen 1 Montero they want to sell? Needs to fit a 1990 SWB. Supposedly most, if not all Gen 1 suspension seat frames bolt right in w/o any further mod. Any hints on locating these in the Colorado Front Range area or elsewhere is also much appreciated.

there's apparently bouncies for sale, or possibly available elsewhere here from $100 and lower. there may be one or half a dozen available, i can't really tell at this point, but you might have some luck with your quest there... good luck on your search. jack b :-)

The one in the above picture is the type you need for the passenger side, the other type will hit on the body unless you modify it. Either of the two types will go in either side, it's just the one not pictured has the knob on the side instead of the front. If you get the other type you'll have to take it apart and flip the shaft.

To be fair, it has been quite awhile since I've had bouncy seat bases to sell. Clarence in Stockton received the last two. Allen in Roseville before that. Come on now...

PS: The four bolt model is from an earlier model, likely a 4-cyl Monty. The 6-bolt base came in the 4-doors. I haven't had a peak inside a V6 2-door with a bouncy base, yet, to see the variance.

Rxinhead sold me clean drivers side bouncy seat. Still looking for passenger side (best if already for, or converted to pass side use.
