Getting the Wheeling Fever
I cannot see how one accesses the fastener(s) holding down the rear of the floor console. It seems like you should be able to remove the box (cup) under the console arm rest and then have access to some screws likely.

Anyone have words of wisdom or a sketch?

I need to pull my carpet! (Wet and Yucky)

For and SWB, the cubby box under the armrest comes out and there are screws under that. Do you have that box out yet? Been a while since I pulled mine, but I do feel like I had to fiddle with it to get the box to pop up.

Cubby box catches are on the sides, in the middle.

That is exactly the info I needed! That is what I had thought should be the case. I tried to gently force the storage box up, but, it didn't want to release. More precise persuasion needed I guess.

It is very cold in my garage and all the plastic is brittle from years in the heat. I was certain I would break something if I kept going. I already destroyed my radio surround even while being careful. Knowing where the catches are (sides)is a real plus. Thanks a bunch!
