Need a Spot

Well IÆm getting ready for the inevitable. Looks like my 92 Bighorn is gonna need an alternator soon, and the clutch has recently begun a little slip here and there.
It is possibly I may luck out, get a week where my wife is not working and pull the Alternator to have it rebuilt locally...but i'd almost rather have a spare.
Anyone have any part no's, know of any interchanges etc to get such things in North America? I did a bit of searching, looks like a alternator of a mid 90's NPR might work, as for the clutch I have not begun that research.
I'm gonna check with some of the JDM guys in Vancouver see what they can turn up as well.
Any help would be great!

Rockauto.com has recently started listing parts for the earlier Isuzu diesels; you might try them. Also, check sunburybrakes for clutch parts. I bought a 4JB1-T kit from them which is working well, supposed to be a bit heavier-duty and cost about the same as the rockauto kit when shipping is included. The kit didn't include the pilot bearing, but I found that it's the same as the gas engine version and thus easily obtained. Perhaps the same goes for your engine?

i have heard the early NPR alternator will work, but have no experience. let us know how it goes. i too ordered from sunbury, however i think next time i will take my old clutch plate in to a clutch specialist and see if they can find one in the same diameter here in the states because the shipping was the cost of the clutch! good luck!
